Please join us for a fun, family-friendly game night on the University of Arizona campus! Order up some hors d'oeuvres and learn how to play Grassvasion: Save the Saguaros! – a game designed by a U of A team to teach about ecology and cooperation. about the dangers of invasive species and the struggles of conflicting interests. Each player takes on the role of a different community member to gain an understanding of the dangers of invasive species and the struggles of conflicting interests. Ultimately, players must work together to achieve a compromising solution to save Arizona's iconic cactus from harmful invaders.

Read more about why Liz Baldwin, professor in the School of Government and Public Policy, helped develop the game.

Hosted by the Arizona Institute for Resilience and U of A College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

This event is part of the pre-game celebration leading up to the U of A Sandstorm home game on November 6.
